Typography – 46 Cool and Useful Dingbat Fonts | Think Design

I love fonts.  Even if I don’t like a particular font, I love them as a species.  There is a special place in my heart (somewhere near the subcockles) for Dingbats, even though embedded graphics make them largely obsolete.

Thinkdesignblog is an amazing resource for design freebies and tips.  They compiled a list of 46 fun Dingbat fonts that I can actually foresee using!  I adore adding flourishes like those in Nymphette to letterhead and business cards:

I’m not sure what I would do with all the coffee rings in the Cafeina Dig font:

Other fonts include skulls, soldiers, flowers, border elements, animals, butterflies, postage marks, tattoos and cartoony little evil things.
